Memoir

About Memoir

Memoir turns a loved one's life story into a real audiobook in their own voice — a warm biographer gently interviews them, and we produce it into a finished audiobook your family keeps forever.

What we do

A warm, patient biographer calls your loved one and asks about their life — where they came from, the people they've loved, the hard times and how they came through, and the wisdom they'd want to pass on. They simply talk, at their own pace. We then edit those conversations, add music, weave in their photographs, and deliver a beautifully finished audiobook on a private family page to keep and share.

It is their real voice telling their real stories, gently produced. Nothing is faked or replaced. Keeping their actual voice, forever, is the whole point.

Who it's for

Memoir is made for families who want to preserve a parent's or grandparent's stories and voice before it's too late — and it's built especially for people who aren't comfortable with technology. There's one button and a friendly voice: no apps, no menus, nothing to learn. If a call ever drops, nothing is lost — the biographer picks up right where they left off.

Why now

The window closes faster than we expect, and a loved one's voice and stories are irreplaceable. Most of us mean to capture them "someday." Memoir makes someday now — a warm, patient way to turn a whole life into an heirloom your family keeps forever.

The company

Memoir is made by Memoir Audio, Inc., a Delaware corporation based in the United States. We also work with partners to bring Memoir to communities who care deeply about preserving their stories.
